Q: Has the Built-In Pest Control System already been serviced? A: No, the system has only been installed. You will need to contact our office at 770.592.1121 or via email to request an appointment to start-up your new service. After that initial service, you will no longer need to make an appointment nor will you need to be home in order to receive quarterly service. Q: Does the Built-In Pest Control System treat termites as well? A: No, the Built-In Pest Control System is designed to treat common household pests such as ants, spiders, roaches, silverfish, millipedes, etc. Pestban offers a Termite Monitoring System that provides protection against termites. Please contact our office for additional information. Q: Can the Built-In Pest Control System be retrofitted for an existing home? A: Unfortunately, the answer is “no”. Due to how the product is installed, it can only be done during new construction. However, we can install the system if you are finishing a basement or making an addition to your current home. Q: What chemicals are put in the Built-In Pest Control System? A: The same type of pesticide that is typically used in traditional pest control with the advantage of being contained in the walls of your home instead of on your carpets and baseboards. In addition, the chemicals are changed seasonally to target specific pests and provide increased effectiveness. Q: When do I need to renew my Termite warranty if my builder installed the Termite Monitoring System during new construction? A: Your first year was provided free of charge by your builder. You will receive a renewal notice on the one-year anniversary of your closing date. Simply call the office and schedule an appointment to have your annual inspection and termite renewal completed. Q: Can Pestban provide Traditional Pest Control Service if my house does not have the Built-In Pest Control System? A: Yes, we do offer a Traditional Pest Control Service.
